Well, I think we finally know what is wrong with baby D
. About four months ago they diagnosed him with
Eosinophilic Esophagitis.
Eosinophilic esophagitis is an inflammatory condition in which the wall of the
esophagus becomes filled with large numbers of
eosinophils. Which is triggered by allergies. So we met with an allergist last week and had him tested. Drum roll please..... Beef, Milk, Peas, Peanuts, Rice and Dogs. I am looking on the bright side and being thankful that Wheat is not part of the group. I can deal with all of those. But wheat would be tricky.
We have already seen some improvement. He has only vomited twice this week! My carpet is very happy.

Ode to good friends. Here is to all my girlfriends! I have been blessed to associate with some of the most amazing women! I just wished they all lived closer to me. When I lived in CA I met some women who changed my life in so many good ways. (isn't it great when that happens?) and now that I live here, I have made even more close friends who make my life a good place to be. My good friend K bought my K a bedazzled phone the other day because she said, "when I was seven I would have loved something like that!" Well little K loves her phone (and so do her brothers, but we won't dwell on that). What a great friend to do such a small thing that made my little K feel so special. My CA girlfriends email me just to check in and keep tabs on me and I have a good friend from H.S. who is amazing at keeping in touch even when I am terrible at it (thanks M, since I know you will be the only person who will most likely read this :) I have girlfriends who always send me Christmas cards ( i love those cards) and those that find me a babysitter so I can go shopping with them at the last minute. And one who showed up to my house to drop by chocolate and a Caffeine free diet coke (because she knows it is my favorite). Yes, I am a very lucky women!
