Ode to good friends. Here is to all my girlfriends! I have been blessed to associate with some of the most amazing women! I just wished they all lived closer to me. When I lived in CA I met some women who changed my life in so many good ways. (isn't it great when that happens?) and now that I live here, I have made even more close friends who make my life a good place to be. My good friend K bought my K a bedazzled phone the other day because she said, "when I was seven I would have loved something like that!" Well little K loves her phone (and so do her brothers, but we won't dwell on that). What a great friend to do such a small thing that made my little K feel so special. My CA girlfriends email me just to check in and keep tabs on me and I have a good friend from H.S. who is amazing at keeping in touch even when I am terrible at it (thanks M, since I know you will be the only person who will most likely read this :) I have girlfriends who always send me Christmas cards ( i love those cards) and those that find me a babysitter so I can go shopping with them at the last minute. And one who showed up to my house to drop by chocolate and a
Caffeine free diet coke (
because she knows it is my favorite). Yes, I am a very lucky women!
